Margaret is an expert in forensic anthropology and has written countless books on the subject, including Forensic Archaeology: Advances in Theory and Practice with John Hunter. She has been awarded the European Union’s Woman of Achievement Award (2002) and the Royal Anthropological Institute of Great Britain’s Lucy Mair Medal (2015). Margaret has been involved in many archaeological digs across the world, including a pioneering project to identify British and Australian soldiers from the Battle of Fromelles in World War One. Margaret’s television credits include Meet the Ancestors, and she regularly gives lectures and after dinner talks on her specialist areas.
