Magic Moments: No. 3

“The Live at York was made up of three different sites, all near each other. One was a medieval hospital site and I did a drawing of the inmates that incorporated Tony, Mick and Phil. Another of the sites was a Viking village and I had to draw perched on top of a 4m-high wall. It was very dodgy because I kept forgetting where I was and nearly leaning back. Then at the third site – a Roman burial ground – we found amazing things like leather shoes. They really brought things to life.”
