Time Team visited Norton Disney in rural Lincolnshire, on the hunt for a long lost medieval moated Manor House. Here is our reconstruction of how the lost moated Manor House might have looked, informed by the dig itself, and information from Time Team and local experts, the study of the landscape and comparative historical sites. Now is your chance to look around. Explore the hall and venture outside, around the moat, and into the church where recreations of the Disney tombs can be found.

In the Digging For Disney episode's Gus leads the team following in Walt’s famous footsteps, marvelling at the Disney family’s medieval history, as the origins of the village get pushed further and further back. John’s geophys created some of the key targets for Richard’s input overseeing the trenches, digging deep for dateable evidence; Carenza persuades the entire village to get involved, and manages a hundred volunteers test pitting up and down Main Street; and Stewart spearheads the search for the moat in the wider landscape.
