Broadcast Digital Awards 2026 Finalist

We’re pleased to share that Time Team has been shortlisted in two categories at the Broadcast Digital Awards 2026:

• Best Specialist Channel
• Best Digital Support for a Strand, Channel or Genre

The nominations recognise the continued growth of Time Team’s digital platforms and the wider archaeology community that has developed around them over the past few years.

Alongside new documentary releases, Time Team now produces podcasts, live streams, masterclasses, behind-the-scenes content and live excavation opportunities, connecting audiences around the world with archaeology in new and participatory ways.

Over the past year, millions of viewers from more than 130 countries have engaged with Time Team content across YouTube, Patreon, social media and live events.

We’re very proud to see the work of the entire team recognised in this way, and grateful to everyone who continues to watch, support and take part in what we do.

The Broadcast Digital Awards ceremony will take place in London on 1st July 2026.
