As featured in the new Time Team Special ‘Digging Band of Brothers’ presented by Sir Tony Robinson, Littlecote House Hotel is a magnificent Grade I listed Tudor manor located in Wiltshire, close to Aldbourne where the main archaeological dig was located. 80 years ago many of the high ranking US military officers were stationed at Littlecote during WWII and where they would have made many significant decisions that steered the course of history for the US soldiers of Easy Company and the D-Day landings.  

At Littlecote House history is literally on your doorstep: the stunning location has also played host to occupying Romans, a Tudor tryst and even a Civil War army. The grounds contain an ornate Roman mosaic floor and settlement remains. Henry VIII courted Jane Seymour here, and the D-Day landings were planned within the house.

COMPETITION TERMS & CONDITIONS:

1. The prize draw is open to all entrants worldwide aged 18 years or over, except employees or contractors of the Promoter, Sponsor, their immediate families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the prize draw.

2. The prize draw is free to enter, and no purchase is necessary. Only one entry per person. Multiple entries will not be accepted and removed.

3. Time Team and Warner Hotels will share a prize draw post on social media inviting entrants to enter via the competition form hosted on Time Team’s official Website. Only online submissions will be accepted via this entry form. This is the only way to enter.

4. The opening date for entries is 19:00PM on 30 Sep 2023. The closing date of the prize draw is 23:59PM on 22 Oct 2023.  Entries received after this time will not be accepted.

5. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault, including technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind.

6. A winner will be chosen by random draw performed by a computer process shortly after the competition closes.

7. The winner will receive one (1) ‘three-night dinner, bed and breakfast break for two guests in a Signature room'. The prize must be booked by 1 December 2023, and taken in 2023 or 2024. For the avoidance of doubt, the cost of travel is not included in this prize. The prize is subject to availablility. The prize cannot be redeemed on Star breaks, Christmas or New Year breaks. Further, the prize is non-refundable, non-transferable, non-changeable and cannot be exchanged for a cash alternative. 

8. The prize also includes a bundle of merchandise from the Time Team Official Shop that will be delivered directly to the participant, including: 1 x Time Team x Operation Nightingale - Digging Band of Brothers T-Shirt, 1 x Time Team T-Shirt - Olive, 1 x Broken Pots, Mending Lives: The Archaeology of Operation Nightingale (Signed Edition - Hardback), 1 x Circular & Co x Time Team Reusable Travel Mug - Black & Gold, 1 x Time Team Recycled Leather Mini Notepad and pencil, 1 x Large Canvas Holdall - Brown that will be shipped to the prize winner directly.

   Time Team Digital Ltd and Warner Leisure cannot be held liable for any additional costs during their stay, or in relation to the customs clearance or delivery of the shipment to their residential address. Please note - we cannot arrange delivery to PO Box address and will require an alternative address to be provided.

9. Time Team will notify the winner by email within 5 working days of the prize draw closing date. If a winner does not respond to accept the prize the Promoter within 3 days of being notified by the Promoter, then the winner's prize will be forfeited, and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.

10. Confirmation of the prize will be sent to the winner by email within five days of being notified of their win.

11. The prize for the winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered. 

12. Prizes and clothing sizes are subject to availability at time of prize being accepted. The Promoter and associates reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter's control makes it necessary to do so. 

13. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.

14. The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and country of major prize winners to anyone who emails info@timeteamdigital.com within [one] month after the closing date stated in condition 4. If you object to any or all of your surname, country and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter Time Team. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.

15. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize, to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.

16. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.

17. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

18. Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will only be processed as set out in the Promoter's. See also condition 13 with regard to the announcement of winners.

19. The prize draw will be governed by English law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
