Miles Russell

Dr Miles Russell was responsible for putting forward one of our most popular digs on Time Team Classics – ‘The Puzzle of Picket Farm’ filmed in South Perrott, Dorset. He was present at many digs focusing on the transition from the Iron Age to Roman Britain and is a regular guest on our Time Team Teatime sessions. Miles is a senior lecturer in archaeology at Bournemouth University, director of Regnum, co-director of the Durotriges Project and co-director of Bournemouth University’s archaeological field school. He is a Fellow of the Society of Antiquities of London. He also boasts a fine collection of Daleks.
