Stewart Ainsworth
Landscape Archaeologist
Stewart Ainsworth is Time Team's Landscape Archaeologist. Stewart surveys, records and investigates archaeological sites. When not filming, Stewart also works as an investigator and project manager for English Heritage. Stewart has been interested in history since the age of eleven, after reading a book about Horatio Nelson. This, coupled with a visit to the Tower of London, confirmed his enthusiasm for the past and kindled his interest in the history of landscapes.
