Former digger Jim Mower began his Time Team journey as a digger and discovered his ‘find of a lifetime’ at Fetlar, Shetland – the largest soapstone bowl ever to have been found in Britain! Jim later moved behind the camera, where he nurtured a talent as a researcher and producer. He is responsible for some of Time Team’s most memorable sites, and visits to iconic locations including Westminster. Jim works as a consultant in the heritage sector and his knowledge and expertise in both archaeology and television production have proved vital in supporting Time Team’s return.
